For 9/32 inch (7 mm) chain, if any link (2) is worn at any point in excess of 3/64 inch (1 mm) or chain size is lessthan 15/64 inch (6 mm) in diameter, remove sling from service. Use drill set as No-Go gauge and/or caliper.b. For 3/8 inch (10 mm) chain, if any link (2) is worn at any point in excess of 5/64 inch (2 mm) or chain size is lessthan 19/64 inch (8 mm) in diameter, remove sling from service.
