REMOVAL
NOTE
The M981A3 has two cable reel holders – one on each external fuel tank. The M1064A3 has
only one holder – on the right external fuel tank. All holders are replaced the same way.
1.
Remove two screws (1), lockwashers (2), and washers (3) securing holder assembly (4) to stop light-tail light guard (5)
and external fuel tank (6). Discard lockwashers.
