INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Materials/Parts Cotter pin (2) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) M26 periscope mount removed (WP 0583 00) DISASSEMBLY 1. Remove two cotter pins (1), latches (2), springs (3), washers (4), and headless pins (5) with spring pins (6) from periscope mount (7). Discard cotter pins. NOTE If spring pins are not damaged, go to Step 2. 2. If needed, remove spring pins (6) from headless pins (5). ASSEMBLY 1. If removed, install new spring pins (6) on headless pins (5). 2. Install two washers (4) and springs (3) on two headless pins (5). 3. Install two headless pins (5) in periscope mount (7). 0584 00-1
