REPAIR DOME LIGHT AND MOUNT (M577A3 AND M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued

Disassemble dome light as follows:
a.
Remove lens (1) and seal (2) from light door (3).
b.
Push in and turn lamp (4) to the left. Remove lamp from light body (5).
NOTE
Disassemble and assemble dome lights and blackout lights the same way. Lens in dome light is
clear. Lens in blackout light is dark (nine dome lights, two blackout lights).
3.
Disassemble dome light mount as follows:
a.
Remove knob (6), nut (7), two small washers (8), two large gaskets (9), and mount plate (10) from bracket (11).
b.
Remove two large gaskets (9) from plate (10).
c.
Remove six locknuts (12), three washers (13), mount (14), and bracket (11) from hull mounts (15). Discard
locknuts.
