Hubs may be hot.
a. Check for overheated hubs.
After operation, touch all
wheels hubs cautiously for no-
ticeable temperature differ-
ence between components. An
overheated hub indicates a
maladjusted, inadequately lu-
bricated or damaged bearing.
b. Check for proper oil level.
Oil level should be visible half
way up sight glass. Add oil ii
needed.
c. Check lower end of shock
absorber cautiously and check
for temperature difference be-
tween hull area and shock ab-
sorber. lf overheating occurs,
notify unit maintenance.
NOTE
If shock absorber is operat-
ing properly, it should be
warmer than hull area
around shock absorber.
If overheating occurs, notify
unit maintenance.
Not Fully Mission
Capable If:
a. Wheel hub is
overheating or any
Class Ill leak.
c. Shock absorber
broken, missing, in-
operative or cold.
