MALFUNCTION

ENGINE
1. ENGINE FAILS TO CRANK, OR CRANKS SLOWLY, WHEN STARTER SWITCH IS
ACTIVATED

Step 4.
Check to see if MASTER switch is ON.
Move to ON position.
Check to see if transmission lever is in (neutral) N position.
Place in N position.
Check to see if battery cables are loose, broken or corroded.
If cables are loose, broken or corroded, notify Organizational Maintenance.
Check to see if BAITERY-GENERATOR indicator gage reads in normal
range.
If indicator reads low, notify Organizational Maintenance.
2. ENGINE CRANKS BUT FAILS TO START
Step 1.
Step 2.
Check to see if FUEL gage indicates empty (E).
Fill, if no fuel.
Check to see if FUEL SHUTOFF control handle is pulled out.
Push handie in completely.
