WARNING
Air pressure in excess of 30 psi
(207 kPa) can injure personnel.
Don't direct pressurized air at
yourself or others. Always wear
safety goggles.
Fuel can catch fire and burn you.
Do not smoke. Disconnect bat-
tery ground cables before you
work on fuel system. Wipe up
spilled fuel.
CAUTION
Dont expose sealed areas to
steam for more than 15 minutes.
Check fuel tank for leaks. Repair or re-
place fuel tanks that leak (page 6-11 or
6 - 2 1 ) .
Tighten all fuel hoses, tubes and fit-
tings that leak.
Replace fuel hoses and tubes that are
cracked, crimped or worn (see Chapter
6).
Replace cracked or stripped fittings
(see Chapter 6).
Any contaminated
tanks, fuel leaks or
cracked,
broken,
stripped or crimped
hardware.
