Remove cotter pin from tow pintle on recovery vehicle. Pull up on pintle hook latch and open pintle. Remove tow bar from tow pintle. Close tow pintle and check that tow pintle latch is closed. Install cotter pin to secure pintle 6. 7. Remove two retainer clips and pins securing tow bar to towing eyes of disabled carrier. Remove tow bar. Install two pins in tow bar and secure with retainer clips. hook latch closed. END OF TASK 2-258
