Ifcoolant heater does not startafter three tries, troubleshootheater (page 3-15).NOTECoolant heater always starts atlow heat. It switches to high heatif HI-LO switch is set at HI.8. Move HI-LO switch to HI orLO.NOTEWhen HI-LO switch is at HI,heater will automatically go tolow heat if coolant temperaturereaches 190°F (88°C). It will goback to high heat if coolanttemperaturedrops to 120°F(49°C). If coolant reaches atemperature of 245° to 260°F(118° to 126°C), heater will stopand must be restarted.2-236
