REPLACE AIR SEPARATOR TO FUEL TANK TUBES, HOSES, AND FITTINGS (M548A3)

17. Disconnect fuel return hose (1) from elbow (2) on air separator tank (3).
18. Remove elbow (2), nut (4), ring (5), and preformed packing (6) from air separator tank (3). Discard preformed packing.
19. Disconnect adapter (7) from fuel return line (8).
20. Remove adapter (7) from fuel return hose (1)
21. Remove screw (9), lock washer (10) and two clamps (11) bulkhead and hoses. Discard lock washer.
22. Remove screw (12), lock washer (13), clamp (14), and fuel return hose (1) from bulkhead bracket. Discard lock washer.
23. Remove fuel return hose (1) and grommet (15) from bulkhead. Discard grommet.
24. Disconnect vehicle compartment heater tube (16) and cap (17) from tee (18).
25. Remove tee (18) from fuel line (19).
26. Remove fuel line (19) from air separator tank (3).
27. Disconnect hose (20) from adapter (21).
28. Remove adapter (21) from vehicle compartment heater tube (16).
