1. Move RUN-OFF-START switch to RUN. Do not stop at OFF
position.
2. Does blower and pump stay on?

1. Replace heater RUN-OFF- START
switch. See task: Repair heater
control box (WP 0472 00).
2. Verify no faults found.

1. Check how long heater produce hot air.
2. Does heater continue producing hot air for ten minutes?

1. Heater shuts off prematurely. See

1. Listen to heater blower.
2. Turn HI-LO switch to HI.
3. Does blower speed increase?

2. Has air temperature increased?

1. Shut off heater (see your -10).
2. Faulty heater restrictor solenoid. See

NOTE
Heater shuts off prematurely if air inlet temperature is 60
degrees or above. This is normal.
1. Run heater on HI for ten minutes.
2. Does heater continue producing hot air?
