15-75. LOWER REAR DOOR PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND BRACKET
REPLACEMENT.

• General mechanic’s tool kit (Item 24,
l Vehicle parked on level ground (refer to
Appendix 1)
TM 9-2350-287-10).
l Upper and lower rear doors opened
Materials/Parts:
(refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).
l LockWasher (4) (Item 124, Appendix H)

REMOVAL
NOTE
Both portable fire extinguisher
brackets are replaced the same way.
Unstrap and remove portable fire
extinguisher (1) from bracket (2).
Remove four screws (5), Iockwashers
(4), washers (3) and bracket (2) from
lower rear door (6) or APU compartment
wall. Discard Iockwashers.
INSTALLATION
Install bracket (2) on lower rear door (6)
or APU compartment wall with four screws
(5), washers (3) and new Iockwashers
(4).
Install and strap portable fire extinguisher
(1) in bracket (2).
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
• Close upper and lower rear doors (refer to
TM 9-2350-287-10).
