INSTALLATION
1.
Apply thin coat of adhesive in channel on underside of driver’s hatch cover (1) and mounting surface of new
seal (2). Allow adhesive to dry until tacky.
CAUTION
When installing seal, avoid stretching or bunching seal. Stretching or bunching seal
may cause driver’s hatch cover to leak.
2.
Install seal (2) in channel of driver's hatch cover (1 ).
WARNING
Adhesives can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin
and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep adhesives away from open fire and
use in a well-ventilated area. If adhesive gets on skin or clothing wash immediately
with soap and water.
3.
Apply thin coat of adhesive to underside of driver’s hatch cover (1) and mounting surface of new pad (3). Allow
adhesive to dry until tacky.
4.
Position pad (3) in place on underside of driver’s hatch cover (1).
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
• Close driver's hatch cover (refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).
