l Lower rear door opened (refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).
l Lockwasher (2) (Item 196, Appendix H)
l Battery ground cables disconnected (para 7-41).

REMOVAL
NOTE
If you are replacing switch bracket, perform steps 1-3. If you are replacing toggle
switch only, perform steps 1 and 2 only.
Disconnect electrical connector AAF (3), electrical connector
door control toggle switch (2).
NOTE
10 (4), and electrical connector AAG (5) from
Both upper rear door control switches are replaced the same way. Lower control
switch is equipped with switch guard.
Remove two screws (10) and Iockwashers (9), switch guard (8), and toggle switch (2) from switch bracket (1).
Discard Iockwashers.
Remove two screws (6) and Iockwashers (7) and switch bracket (1) from vehicle. Discard Iockwashers.
INSTALLATION
NOTE
If you are replacing switch bracket, perform steps 1-3. If you are replacing toggle
switch only, perform steps 2 and 3 only.
Install switch bracket (1) on vehicle using two new Iockwashers (7) and two screws (6).
Install toggle switch (2) on switch bracket (1) using two new Iockwashers (9) and two screws (10).
Connect electrical connector AAG (5), electrical connector 10 (4), and electrical connector AAF (3) to toggle
switch (2).
