TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPLACE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSES, FITTINGS, AND MOUNTING — Continued 0399 00 9. Install new preformed packing (1) and elbow (2) on oil cooler outlet port (3). Tighten jam nut (4). 10. Install elbow (5) on elbow (2). 11. Install hose (6) on elbow (5). 12. Route hose (6) through bracket (7). 13. Install nipple (8) on transmission oil inlet hose (6). 14. Install transmission oil inlet tube (9) on nipple (8). CAUTION Contamination of control valves can cause transmission failure. Make sure dirt does not get into control valves while top cover is removed. NOTE If elbow was removed, do Steps 15 - 24. NOTE Ensure elbow is pointing in right direction during installation. Use mark made during removal. If needed, temporarily install transmission oil inlet tube on elbow. Ensure top cover can be installed after elbow is tightened. NOTE Do Step 15 only for transmissions without an elbow adapter. 0399 00-9
