GENERAL INSPECTION AND REPAIR PROCEDURES
The mechanic will perform a visual inspection of personnel heater, fire extinguisher
l Check for broken, damaged or loose-fitting retainer straps and brackets.
and ventilation systems during removal and disassembly.
Repair or replace; notify Support Maintenance as required.
During inspection, look for the following conditions and take the appropriate
indicated action.
l Check for signs of shorted electrical circuits at terminal board/connector
assemblies.
l Check for cracled, damaged or deteriorated hose, tubes and ducts.
Repair lead terminals, replace terminal boards or notify Support
Replace if necessary.
Maintenance as required.
l Check for leaks at personnel heater fuel line connector.
l Check for signs of burns, heat discoloration, or damaged heater housing
and components.
Replace connector assemblies if needed.
Notify Support Maintenance as required.
l Check for frayed, deteriorated or broken electrical leads.
Notify Support Maintenance as required.
