REMOVE
WARNING
Gas from batteries can ex-
plode. Ventilate compart-
ment before you disconnect
or connect battery cables.
Battery acid can burn or
blind you. Do not get acid
on your skin or eyes. ALWAYS disconnect
ground lead (circuit 7) first and connect it
last.
1. Remove nut (1), circuit 6 lead (2), and screw
(3) from terminal lug (4).
2. Remove lead (2) and grommet (5) from bat-
tery box (6). Discard grommet.
3. On M113A2, M741A1, and M901A1 carriers,
remove five clips (7) from cradles (8). Remove
lead (2) from cradles.
4. Remove five screws (9) and cradles (8) from
hull weldnuts.
